Have you ever worked on something for a long time? A unit of study, a degree program, written a book, maybe? And when it was finally time to release the final news to the world, it felt too good to be true? That’s how I am feeling about the Social Script Library!
The Social Script Library (SSL) is a library of pre-made, no-prep social supports for students. This collection of social scripts is designed for students across the age and ability spectrum by using real photos and visual symbols. It will save you time with planning and prep, while still making sure your students are engaged, supported, and ready.
I designed this membership because social scripts are SO USEFUL and SO TIME CONSUMING. As a self contained special education teacher, I always had about 10 ideas for helpful social scripts, but my prep time was consumed by IEP writing, collaborating with colleagues, writing intervention plans, and laminating visuals.
Social scripts are helpful. THEY WORK. I want these in the hands of teachers, paras, clinicians, and caregivers so they can be in the hands of students. So the SSL was born!

How do I access the library?
The SSL is accessed through a monthly membership. At this time (July 2021), the membership price is $10.99/month. With your log-in, you will visit the library and gain access to all of the social scripts and related video, print, and audio trainings. You can check this out here.
What’s the value of the membership?
At present, there is a $100+ value of products, training videos, and exclusives included in the membership. Each month, value will be added with more social scripts and training materials will be added. The moment you sign up, you can download 25+ social scripts on a variety of unique topics.
What if I own a lot of your scripts and e-books from TPT already?
Good question! Every social script and e-book in my Teachers Pay Teachers store will also be in the library, along with membership exclusives that will never be listed on TPT. These will drop the first of every month. You also have the ability to request a social script via an exclusive form, so you can ask for those unique topics that you need for your students and setting!
What’s the price per month?
At current, this membership is $10.99/month. As time goes on, the price will rise for NEW MEMBERS. This means your monthly price will be locked in! If you think you may want in at any point, join now! This is the lowest price SSL will ever be.
How does canceling work?
You can cancel your membership at ANY time, but due to the digital nature of this subscription, no refunds will be given.
Are social scripts for individuals with disabilities only?
I’m so glad you asked – NO! All students can benefit greatly from social scripts. I have used scripts provided in this membership for entire classes of general education students with great success. The majority of information about social scripts have been gathered from children with disabilities. They are best practice for supporting ALL students.
